*Non Spoilers and Score At The Bottom*
It has been a little bit of a wait, but we once again are returning to Gotham City and the Batman series. The series has been flirting with greatness ever since Tynion took over. However, most likely due to being dragged into various crossovers, the book has staggered and now usually resides somewhere in the middle when it comes to quality. Sure, there are some neat things and storylines that intrigue, but there also doesn’t feel like that something special is here. The series just feels average and frankly, I think that is a terrible thing for the most popular character they’ve got out there. This series needs to step it up and bring us an exciting story that everyone is theorizing about and that everyone is just waiting for the next installment so they can finally figure out what’s going on. Instead, the series just sits comfortably without taking any sort of risks. That is boring. However, perhaps things will turn around this issue. Let’s jump in and find out.

Crime Syndicate #3 Review
Manipulate and Dominate
We're heading back to Earth-3 to check in on Andy Schmidt's continued reinvention of the Crime Syndicate and what their formation and origins are in this newly formed Omniverse of DC Comics. Previously, we saw Owlman join the scene of heroes with information based on an old Power Ring battery, tapping into what Emerald Knight and his ring know and showing us our villains working together for the first time against the Starro Collective. Let's jump into this issue if this new intelligence allows our villains to work as a team to take down this global threat...... So that they can become an even bigger threat. Let's check it out.
Man-Bat #4 Review
Better Living Through Fear
Kirk Langstrom is dying but he doesn't plan to do it before he finally creates a cure for deafness, not only to allow his deaf sister to hear but to help all the people that he caused hearing loss to in the first issue. It's just too bad that the Scarecrow has other plans for Man-Bat in his final days. You see, in the first issue, Man-Bat caused a sonic cannon that the Scarecrow needed for his new mission in fear, to be damaged and now he needs the transformed scientist's help to fix it. It's just too bad that it's completely against his will. Let's jump into this issue and see what happens in the fear-induced fantasy world that Scarecrow has created, where the Langstroms are a happy couple, working together and loving one another once again. Let's check it out.
Suicide Squad #3 Review
Get Her Before She Bolts!
Task Force X is not only on the move, but they're looking to move a little faster, and to do that they're looking to recruit the young speedster Bolt from Teen Titans Academy, who we saw in the second issue of that series having a past connection to Amanda Waller. It's a crazy idea that we'd have the Suicide Squad going after someone connected to the Teen Titans but I guess after acquiring Superboy somehow, Amanda Waller's getting a bit bold in her old age. Let's jump into this issue, which takes place before the before mentioned Teen Titans Academy issue, and see the Suicide Squad's first attempt at subduing Bolt and also see how our team of bad guys and Superboy work together to do it. Let's check it out.
Green Lantern #2 Review
A New Mission For A New Corps
Release Date: April 4, 2021
In our previous issue, we saw the Green Lantern Corps and the planet Oa being inducted into the United Federation of Planets but apparently, this didn't sit right with some people...... sorcerer people from a sorcerer world who had some bad blood with the Guardians of the Universe and their perceived involvement with shutting down a large portion of magic in the Universe when they caged the Starheart, the source of Alan Scott's power. That's a beef that looks like it's going to continue as we go along but in the previous issue we saw this escalate to the point of a Guardian being killed and now we'll look at what the Universe looks like with one less Guardian and a Corps that has to find a place in the newly formed United Planets. Let's jump into this issue and check it out.
