What started with a lot of promise took a really bad turn in the previous issue. This series wasn’t the greatest, but I was at least having fun with the book. Frankly, from a Flash title, that’s exactly what I wanted! However, now we have fallen into a dark place where the story has begun doing things for convenience rather than giving proper reason for those things to happen. With the new problems that the book is experiencing, the old problems which seemed rather minor in the previous issues now are weighing it down even more. We could ignore those problems when the rest of the book had some old school fun in it, but now that the fun has left, those issue stick out like a sore thumb. I’m hoping that the most recent face off with the main villain will bring that excitement back into this series and we can get back on track to where we were before the most previous issue. So, lets jump into this newest issue and see what it has in store for us.

The Lie That Saved Time
Present-day Batman Beyond continues now after our hero has traveled back in time with Booster Gold to make sure that Blanque isn't able to put a telepathic timebomb in Bruce Wayne, which will lead to Bruce going crazy in the future and killing Terry McGinnis' brother Matt. Yeah, things have gotten weird for our future Batman, but it only got weirder when our hero went to stop Blanque from terrorizing a neighborhood only to find that one of the victims is a younger version of his dead father. Let's jump into this issue and see if Terry McGinnis can not only save Batman from getting his mind played with, but also make sure that his father is safe....... you know so that he can be born one day. Let's check this out.

With a city full of Bat-Family members, what is Red Hood's place in all of this and what's he going to do to continue to be on the up and up.... and hopefully not get Batman to brutally kick his ass again?...... I guess we'll have to wait and see, but this is the first step in finding out so let's jump into this issue and see what this next chapter in Jason Todd's life holds for him. Let's check it out.

Getting Right-Side Up
Release Date: November 24, 2020
Let's get back to our big battle between our Justice League Dark team and the nemesis that's plagued this series since the beginning, the Upside-Down Man. In our previous issue we saw Swamp Thing sacrifice himself to bring the Green into the Otherkind's realm, Khalid falters in using the powers of Doctor Fate, forcing Nabu to bring Kent Nelson in to finish the job, Wonder Woman using the power of Hecate and Zatanna merging with their foe for one final standoff. Let's jump into this issue and see if Zatanna has a plan or if she just wanted to emulate a monster from The Thing. Let's check it out.

Greetings Boils And Ghouls!

Continuing from Dark Nights: Death Metal #5, where we saw the Darkest Knight's worlds coming to take on our heroes we find ourselves in the middle of.......... an anthology story? Yeah, it's kind of weird that this would simply be random stories, supposedly showing us some of the people and events that make up the Darkest Knight's newly formed worlds, especially after having other Death Metal tie-ins tell more of the story than what seems like the actual event is doing but for whatever reason, we have a book that feels more like Tales From The Dark Multiverse than an actual tie-in to our event, but let's jump into this issue and see if this book, hosted by the Robin King is worth reading. Let's check it out.
