He-Man & the Masters of the Multiverse #4 Review
Writer: Tim Seeley
Art Team: Tom Derenick, Matt Yackey, Saida Temofonte
Cover Price: $3.99
Release Date: February 19, 2020
He-Man and the Masters of the Multiverse continue on with issue four this month and for once this issue doesn't require a deep dive into He-Man lore to know the characters or setting. While I have been enjoying the series quite a bit, there still had been lacking the feeling that I'm always missing something, mostly to me because it wasn't yet centered on my 'version' of He-Man ... until now. I'm a relatively simple guy, so this was enough to get me motivated for a review I may have otherwise blown off because let's face it the 'taking care of kids is hard' excuse is an easy goto. Any way without more hesitation lets jump into good old 80's cartoon Eternia here and discuss.
Nightwing #69 Review
Memory Loss
Writer: Dan Jurgens
Artist: Ronan Cliquet
Cover Price: $3.99
Release Date: February 19, 2020
I am taking over review duties for this book, and while Nightwing (and Dick Grayson more specifically) is my favorite character in all of comics, I can't say I'm in love with this guy Ric. I mean, I'm not digging the grease paint look for one, but this amnesia bit has gone on way too long. The worst part is, there seemed to be at least two times in the past year that could have brought back good old Dick. I keep hoping that every new issue is going to be the one, but I kind of stopped expecting it. So, how was this issue, and is the end in sight? Let's find out...

The final Hill House book (at least for round one) is here! And it starts with a US Coast Guard playing fetch with his dog at Massacre Bay (Attu Island, Alaska). Teen Titans #39 Review
So Cool
Written By: Adam Glass, Robbie Thompson
Art By: Eduardo Pansica, Julio Ferreira, Marcelo Maiolo, Rob Leigh
Cover Price: $3.99
Release Date: February 19, 2020
The Djinn War begins now and it's about time because hopefully now that we've put The Other behind us we can see a Teen Titans team that not only enjoys each other's company, but one that actually works well together and I can't see any better motivation to get that than in saving Djinn from her Ring dimension prison. Too bad they're going to have to go up against Djinn's brother Elias to do that and if what's been told to us about him previously is any indication, it seems like Elias is one bad dude. Let's jump into this issue and check it out.

Flash Forward #6 Review
Sit Down and Relax
Art By: Brett Booth, Norm Rapmund, Luis Guerrero, Troy Peteri
Cover Price: $3.99
Release Date: February 19, 2020
Release Date: February 19, 2020
We've come to the end of our Wally West six-issue mini, where a lot of us were hoping that we'd get some kind of redemption to our favorite Flash for the accidental deaths of his friends in Heroes In Crisis. Has it exactly lived up to those ideas? Well, no, but we've been doing some dives into Wally's psyche and we've been getting the idea that a lot of this mess with the Dark Multiverse infection was somehow going on during his time that he disappeared in the creation of the New 52 Multiverse, not to mention the disappearance of his children, Jai and Iris. Let's jump into this issue and see if it ends on a high note and if we can look at Wally West the way we used to before so many of his friends died because of him. Let's check it out.
Wonder Woman: Dead Earth #2 Review and Spoilers
A Goddess Examined
Writer and artist: Daniel Warren Johnson
Colors by: Michael Spicer
Letters by: Rus Wooton
Cover Price: $6.99
Release Date: February 19, 2020
Last month's opening installment of Wonder Woman: Dead Earth very effectively established the basic premise of the series: Diana wakes up from a cryogenic sleep in a ruined Wayne Manor at some unspecified point in the future to find the Earth transformed into a post-apocalyptic wasteland of the sort popularized by films like the Mad Max series and games like the Fallout franchise. The main focus of writer/artist Daniel Warren Johnson's story in this first issue appeared to be the tension between the unremitting bleakness of a nuclear holocaust-scoured setting and Diana's irrepressible hope and belief in the potential of human beings to be better. By the end of that first issue, Diana has the upper hand in that struggle between hope and harsh reality. She has made friends, liberated one of the last remaining human settlements from the (understandably) harsh rule of a tyrant, and rescued a savagely mutated Barbara Minerva from captivity and the bitter cage of her desire for vengeance. Will things continue to go Diana's way this month? I think we probably know the answer to that, but let's find out anyway, eh?
Aquaman #57 Review
Water Baby
Writer: Kelly Sue DeConnick
Artist: Robson Rocha, Daniel Henriques
Cover Price: $3.99
Release Date: February 19, 2020
Overall, I have enjoyed Kelly Sue DeConnick's run on Aquaman enough to keep reading and reviewing it. How's that for an endorsement?!? I did enjoy it more at the beginning, but I won't blame her for the Year of the Villain stuff since I have no idea who to blame for that. So, now that we have left Manta and his AI daddy behind, how is the book? Let's find out...
Justice League #41 Review
Congratulate, Don't Eradicate
Written By: Robert Venditti
Art By: Aaron Lopresti, Matt Ryan, David Baron, Tom Napolitano
Cover Price: $3.99
Release Date: February 19, 2020
While we wait for the continuation of Scott Snyder's run of Justice League, we're presented with a tale that feels like something that I've wanted from this book for a long time and that's just a good old fashioned world threat, where while our team may be outmatched, they'll at least have a shot in winning. That hasn't happened lately and for this threat we see The Eradicator creating a super-race of Daxamites to continue Krypton's legacy on Earth, but first, he's going to have to get through our Justice League and Madame Xanadu. Let's jump into this issue and see if our heroes can take on an army that's as powerful as Superman. Let's check it out.
