Kent Nelson is dead but Nabu inhabits Kent's corpse to mentor the new Dr. Fate, Eric Strauss, who was a 10 year old boy aged up to an adult by Nabu. But the catch is that Eric must merge with his stepmother Linda in order to become Fate. Joined by a shapeshifting demon named Petey and a lawyer named Jack Small (who has been turned into a pegasus), Nabu and Eric and Linda must face the Lords of Order and stop them from allowing chaos to win.

But the Lords of Order have contacted a vampire named Andrew Bennett, who wants to die but comes back to life after every suicide. If he helps them then they will let him die, and this offer is what starts the issue.

Shredd This

Despite its ridiculous title, try saying Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III #4 three times fast, the story within the comic itself has been one of my absolute favorite of the summer. We continue the adventures of the amalgam universe here this month, with the Bat/Turtle group fresh off having recruited Shredder to their cause, in an enemy of my enemy is my friend sort of situation. So lets stop wasting time and discuss the fruits off that twisted labor.

DCeased #4 Review

Writer: Tom Taylor
Art Team: Trevor Hairsine, Stefano Gaudiano, Rain Beredo
DC Comics
Release Date: August 7, 2019
Cover Price: $3.99

The Top of the Planet ... Again.

DCeased has been a fun enough break from regular DC continuity, but the concept has begun to show some of it's flaws as well, especially in the last couple issues beyond our initial setup.  While there is plenty of zombie action involving super heroes to go around the story in general, along with the characters in it, have been stuck atop the Daily Planet for much too long, not doing much of anything. So lets discuss issue four and see if things kick into gear.

*Non Spoilers and Score At The Bottom*

We are back with Batman and we got what was, in my opinion, a turning point for this series in the previous issue. This series continues to struggle with a lot of things however, the previous issue was exactly what I wanted from a storyline like this. It was the perfect beginning to the arc. That being said, if you don’t stick the landing, all the lead up was for nothing. This book needs some new life to be breathed into it. This book has divided fans a lot but if this arc is amazing, all of this will have been worth it. That is a big “if” though. I’m also hoping that the few inconsistencies that we have seen in the previous issue are resolved before we get too deep into this storyline. Let’s stop talking about the book and instead, let’s just jump right into it.
