CONCLUSION! On his way back to Rann he hallucinates, ends up almost killing Sardath in his confusion, and flees. The building conspiracy to overthrow the Special Council through rebellion is put on hold as the neighboring citystate Zared sees Ranagar's current weakness and attacks, using weapons of mass destruction to incinerate many of Ranagar's people down to the bone.

I am back for at least this issue to review Wonder Woman and I wish I could say that my return was based on loving the book more than Jon Wayne has.  As fans of G Willow Wilson, it's been hard for both of us to not like what we are getting here because we really, really, really want to love it!  However, I can't fake the funk and here goes my review for Wonder Woman #66.  Is this the issue that lets me give out a big sigh of relief that the book is in good hands?  Let's find out...

Titans #35 Review and *SPOILERS*

Two Halves Make a Whole

Written By: Dan Abnett
Art By: Bruno Redondo, Christian Duce, Marcelo Maiolo
Letters By: Dave Sharpe
Cover Price: $3.99
Release Date: March 13, 2019

*Non Spoilers and Score At The Bottom*

Last issue really broke the camel’s back for me. I spent so much time on this book, trying to defend it. However, last issue I couldn’t take it any longer. This book is going to end next month and frankly, this is good news. Ever since the No Justice storyline that brought in a new team, this book has suffered. The book has been dragged into every crossover that DC could throw it in. Most of the roster has been used in other storylines that have dragged this book down and frankly, the new team doesn’t mesh well together. The story is fairly predictable and this whole thing has become one of the worst books in the lineup. The book needs to end but until then, let’s jump into this issue and see where it takes us.

Scooby Apocalypse #35 Review

Writer: J.M. DeMatteis
Artist: Pat Olliffe, Tom Palmer, and Hi-Fi
Release Date: March 13, 2019
Cover Price: $3.99
Review by: Tony Walton

Well, it’s the penultimate issue, which means yes DC isn’t taking the “Walking Dead” approach and I am glad for it! This book has gone pretty far fetched, even from where it started. Defiantly doesn’t have the Scooby-Doo vibe as the shows/ movies which I am okay with. This is an adaption by DC comics, something usually with a dark tone, although they do have a kids Scooby-Doo book. Would make sense that they have another book but more adult/ older teen-geared. Not only have I been a Scooby fan from a young age, apparently the mall that they have been living in is only a five-minute drive away, so even more devasted that what happened at last issue. After the mall was just destroyed by the confrontation with Nanite King, who and how many of our human survivors, once again escaped death? Let’s dig in and see what we have here…

The Flash #66 Review and *SPOILERS*

The Devil’s Greatest Trick

Written By: Joshua Williamson
Art By: Scott Kolins, Luis Guerrero,
Letters By: Steve Wands
Cover Price: $3.99
Release Date: March 13, 2019

*Non Spoilers and Score At The Bottom*

The Flash has returned from it’s latest crossover with the Batman book. I think this book kind of needed a break like this. The latest storyline about the Force Quest was very disappointing in my opinion. While The Price wasn’t perfect, I thought it ended nicely. Hopefully this small break will give the Flash a chance to revamp the book and make it really enjoyable again. I know Williamson can do it, the question is, WILL he do it? Let’s jump right into this issue and find out for ourselves.

Consistency matters. I cannot stress this point enough. So many books these days will go through fluctuations during the same run. There will be times where the book is great followed almost immediately by a bad couple of issues. Because of this, there are so many books that I don’t know if they are going to be good this month. This is never the case with Supergirl. Sure, this may not be the greatest or deepest or complicated story ever. But who cares? It’s so entertaining and I love reading it. It may not be my favorite book ever but I can confidently go into any comic shop and pick up this book, knowing that I will enjoy it. I can’t say the same thing for SO MANY books. Because of that, I hold Supergirl and this creative team in high regard. BUT that’s enough about the book as a whole, let’s jump into the latest issue and see where it takes us.
