Issue 4 literally starts off with a bang and after last issues cliffhanger. We finally see the aftermath of Abel’s decision to go after Cain instead of trying to help Kira. Was she able to survive the blast?

The story begins with another flashback of Cain and Abel undergoing a test to develop the skill of controlling pain. Although this is the least grotesque test that we have seen. It is still pretty nuts knowing they are being tortured by what looks like an electric chair. With that being said, the flashbacks do I great job of providing context for the rest of the issue.

We are then brought to the moment that Abel has to decide will he go after Cain or find Kira. He decides that he will go after Kira and he finds her alive after she grabbed all the bodies in the room and used them as shields to protect herself from the blast.

Kira after calming down realized that Abel came to see if she was okay instead of running after Cain and she thanked him for it. However, after this moment of dialogue there is more then meets the eye with Kira.

Cain after escaping took his agenda to the streets and went after some cops and we were able to see some of the great action shots that Mustafa brings to this title. Cain was able to steal one of the walkie talkie’s from the cops and made an announcement that Is sure to make Able and Kira’s life even harder.

Bits and Pieces:

This was definitely a slower issue compared to the others in this series but that is by no means a negative. Justin Jordan keeps delivering with this title and I can’t wait for the next one to come.
