“BURNING DOWN THE HOUSE” finale! Fueled by vengeance, Harley Quinn
travels to Rustam’s stronghold to take on the traitor Deadshot and his
entire team of villains all by her lonesome. But help comes from a most
unexpected place in this thrilling conclusion to the most shocking
Suicide Squad story of the Rebirth era!
I don't read Suicide Squad. I'm not sure if I should. That cover, though... I don't want to sound weird or anything (too late, I know), but something appears to be possibly quite seriously wrong with Harley's chest. And her face is not remotely attractive, perhaps because it so obviously doesn't belong to a human being. I like the "Kevlar Vest Girl" line, though - even if its impact is somewhat lessened by that cover.
ReplyDeleteYou know, I used to like JR JR (his run on Thor was pretty good, for example, and I loved his Daredevil stuff, the oddly cuboid Kingpin notwithstanding). I don't know where it went wrong for him. I didn't realise that was Katana until I read the dialogue. Actually, I didn't realise it was a woman, until I realised it was Katana. Amanda Waller looks a bit odd, too. Oh, well. This'll be another series I'll keep on not buying, I guess.
