The Legend of Wonder Woman Chapter #24 Review

Remember the Titan

Written by: Renae De Liz
Art by: Renae De Liz and Ray Dillon
Cover Price: $0.99
Release Date: May 5, 2016

I did it.  After this review I will be totally caught up with The Legend of Wonder Woman and can start bringing you reviews on the day the book is released!  What a novel concept.  It's been a fun ride getting to this point, culminating in the Invisible Jet showing up last issue.  Sure, it didn't really help much, but it's the Invisible f'ing Jet!!!  It just points out one of the main reasons I love this series.  Renae De Liz is giving fans the best of every world including stuff all her very own.  She is slowly unveiling her version of the Wonder Woman mythos and almost every bit of it is hitting and hitting hard.  Speaking of hitting hard, how about that wacky Duke of Deception?  Am I right?!?!  Last chapter ended with him pressing the ominous red button that started a big mountain explosion.  I am not totally sure how this is leading to the Titan, but I can't wait to find out.  I also really want to see the full blown introduction of Cheetah (I'm not considering that  spoiler anymore as we've seen Priscilla Rich a couple of times just begging for people to research who she is) and the return of Wonder Woman.  The last time I checked, this IS the Legend of Wonder Woman, not Diana Prince.  I know, Diana has been awesome, but i want more Wonder Woman and I will hold my breath until I get what I want.  So , with that in mind            i     wilsssssssl;..........

The Legend of Wonder Woman Chapter 23 Review

Cover Price: $0.99
Release Date: April 14, 2016

I am almost caught up with Legend of Wonder Woman and while that may not matter to you guys out there, it is so huge for me.  Why?  Because once I'm caught up, I can start telling everyone on the podcast how great it is! Yep, this week will be the first time in a long time that I'll be talking about this book in our Digital Spotlight segment and if you don't know what that is, then start a listening HERE.  Unlike this book, it is not appropriate for all ages (LANGUAGE!), doesn't have great art (or any, for that matter) and is not up for an Eisner.  Boy, that is not the advertisement I dreamt it would be.  Oh well, at least you will get to hear my smooth tones as I gush about this book because I will gush about it, believe you me.  Now that I'm done begging, I will do what I came here to do, review The Legend of Wonder Woman Chapter #23.  I mentioned in my review for the last chapter that last issue was a bit of a breather before what looks to be some pretty dark times for Diana and her compatriots.  There is word of a Titan entering the war and if you have been keeping up with the series, you know that means bad news for the Allies...and the world.  Normally, I'd say that Wonder Woman would take care of the problem, but right now, there is no Wonder Woman!  There is just a bespeckled Diana Prince and while she looked incredible in her red sequined dress last chapter, I don't think the Titan is going to care much about such things.  He should, but we all know he won't.  So, who is going to save the day and will it be a good read?  I have a couple of guesses, so let's see if I'm right...

Top 5 Fridays: Top 5 Injustice: Gods Among Us Moments

Welcome back to another exciting installment top five Fridays. So if you're a comic book nerd you probably know what movie comes out today: Captain America Civil War.now while we are a DC blog I want to touch on the theme of Civil War, because actually had our own Civil War and it still going on. of course, I'm referring to injustice gods among us. For nearly 3 years we've watched a Civil War between superheroes of the DC universe. In one corner we have Superman with his regime prepared to make the world a better place by policing it while on the other we have Batman and his insurgency who fight the regime to keep the world free. Just like marvels civil war the injustice Civil War house had a LOT of memorable and emotional moments, and that's what we're going to be talking about today. As always this list is completely based on my opinion. if you don't see a moment you like, I apologize. Enough talk! Let's begin!

The Legend of Wonder Woman Chapter #22 Review

The Butler Did It!

Written by: Renae De Liz
Art by: Renae De Liz and Ray Dillon
Cover Price: $0.99
Release Date: April 7, 2016

Boy, that last chapter kind of changed things up a tiny bit, huh?  If you haven't read it yet, go and do so now so I can talk about it without the worry of spoiling it.  Okay, now that we are all on the same page...WTF?!?!?  Diana is no longer Wonder Woman???  Now that is a shocker I never saw coming!  If I had a nickle for every time I've said that, I'd be a rich man, but I mean it this time.  Not only did Renae De Liz show us that everything up until this point was interconnected in a way I didn't realize, we ended with Diana saying no to Zeus and paying the price.  Yea, that price might be a happy life, but...WTF?!?!?!  So, let's just jump into this chapter and see what the hell is going on.

New Suicide Squad #20 Review and **SPOILERS**

Hear! Hear! The Gang’s All Here!

Written By: Tim Seeley
Art By: Juan Ferreyra
Letters By: Nate Peikos of Blambot®
Cover Price: $2.99
Release Date: May 4, 2016

**Non-Spoilers and Score At The Bottom**

We return to part twenty of the Adventures of the Suicide Squad at Castle Fleischhaus, where Deadshot discovers a conspicuous clue and Harley Quinn and Scooby-Doo see a g-g-g-ghost! Really, was there ever a time that the Suicide Squad wasn’t at Castle Fleischhaus? I feel like they’ve been there forever, fighting the Fist of Cain douchebags alongside various Jersey Shore bros and hentai cosplayers. It’s been pretty interesting, but if they’re going to spend so much time at an old castle then I really need to see more vampires and shambling suits of uninhabited armor. Still, murderous psychopaths and mercenary assassins provide their own thrills, and I’m betting that when El Diablo lets loose his fire-making powers it rankles more than a few restless spirits roaming the halls of this crumbling fortress. I just really could have used a Frankenstein’s monster or something guys! Next time, okay? As for this time, I’ve reviewed the issue at hand, which has its own merit even though it contains no ghosts. How much merit? Well, read on to find out!

The Legend of Wonder Woman Chapter #21 Review

Use the Force, Diana

Written by: Renae De Liz
Art by: Renae De Liz and Ray Dillon
Cover Price: $0.99
Release Date: March 31, 2016

Last chapter ended with Wonder Woman on the verge of death at the hands of the Duke of Deception.  I even said in my review that it's silly to think that Wonder Woman would die in her own book, but it at least showed the true threat that is the Duke.  We also are getting very close to the big gala in France and while I complained a bit that the arrival of the Holliday Girls was a little forced, I can't wait to see them wow the pants out of the fancy Parisians and send Pamela Smuthers home with her tail between her legs.  Yea, I may have an unhealthy obsession with seeing that!  It all leads to my review for this chapter.  Was it good?  Did I get everything I wanted?  Am I suddenly writing a school essay titled, " What Jim got for Christmas"?  Let's find out...

The Legend of Wonder Woman Chapter #20 Review

Reunited

Written by: Renae De Liz
Art by: Renae De Liz and Ray Dillon
Cover Price: $0.99
Release Date: March 24, 2016

The next phase of Legend of Wonder Woman is upon us and I am pretty pumped up about it.  No, I'm not talking about Wonder Woman and her increasing rogues gallery...no, I'm talking about the upcoming gala where hopefully, Etta takes care of Pamela Smuthers once and for all.  I can't wait to see the look on her smug face when she realizes that she traveled all the way to Europe to be put in her place.  Well, I was actually lying, I also want to see Wonder Woman fight some big bads as well.  Luckily, I get a bit of both this issue, but was it good?  Let's find out...

The Legend of Wonder Woman Chapter #19 Review

Fab-u-lous

Written by: Renae De Liz
Art by: Renae De Liz and Ray Dillon
Cover Price: $0.99
Release Date: March 17, 2016

I am back again and want to jump right into this next arc of The Legend of Wonder Woman.  I gave last chapter a perfect 10/10 because...well, because I did!  I loved the issue so much as we finally saw Diana become Wonder Woman, but as always, it was Etta Candy that stole the show.  Diana's best friend gave her her name, secret identity outfit and the chapter ended with Etta finally perfecting the Wonder Woman outfit, which we had to wait to see in this chapter.  More important than anything else, Etta gave Diana the push for Wonder Woman to be the hero that the world so desperately needed.  Renae De Liz was being humble when she told me that "Etta wrote herself" (yes, that is a bit of name dropping) because she is really giving fans one of the best characters in comics today.  Unfortunately, the book isn't called,"The Legend of Etta Candy" so the focus goes back on Diana in this chapter.  Now that Wonder Woman is out and about, is the book still one of my favorites?  Let's find out...

The Flash #51 Review

Like the Movie "Speed"...Just Slower...and with Less KeanuAlso...Meet Me in St. Louis

Written by: Van Jensen
Art by: Gus Vasquez, Joe Eisma, Guy Major and Pat Brosseau
Cover Price: $3.99
Release Date: May 4, 2016

The end of the Flash is coming quick and yes, that is a bit of a pun (I'm a punnist and I didn't even nunnist), but it's also kind of sad.  I have enjoyed Van Jensen and Robert Venditti's time with Barry Allen and while things have been thrown out of whack in almost every book heading into Rebirth, I enjoyed the big #50 we got weeks ago.  That isn't to say that things aren't being rushed, just that Van Jensen is doing a good job of dealing with it.  Seeing Flash deal with something that running faster can't solve is a nice twist and now that we know that the Riddler is behind it all, it makes it even more intriguing.  So, does this issue continue the fun and we get one step closer to Rebirth?  Let's find out...

Green Arrow #52 Review and *SPOILERS*

Have Your Pets Spayed or Neutered

Written By: Ben Percy
Art By: Szymon Kudranski, Gabe Eltaeb, Dave Sharpe
Cover Price: $2.99
Release Date: May 4, 2016

*Non Spoilers and Score At The Bottom*

Just another dog day afternoon for Green Arrow and I'm not saying that just because we left the last issue with our hero sporting a machete in the middle of his chest, but also because....... dude's a dog man...... or a werewolf.... or a Warg, whatever you want to go with, but his time may be up because I don't think that even Lon Chaney Jr.'s Wolfman could take a machete to the chest!  (if anyone calls me out about silver being the weakness of a werewolf, I'll kill ya!  I'm just being silly over here.)  So yeah, it looks like Oliver's time in Africa to find a cure for the Warg problem in Seattle didn't go as planned, especially since Deathstroke got a hold of Dr. Miracle in the last issue and is hell bent on taking him back to that old dying crusty dude, Jeffery Paragon so that he can collect his money and get the hell out of terrible rainy Seattle.  Let's see if Oliver can overcome death and get the crazy out of his city before they start throwing everyone into concentration camps, like they're doing with the Lukos infected people of the city.  Let's check it out.

Bloodlines #2 Review and **SPOILERS**

Why You Should Hire a Licensed Clown or Magician for Your Child’s Birthday Party

Written By: J.T. Krul
Art By: V. Ken Marion, Sean Parsons, Andrew Dalhouse & Sotocolor
Letters By: Sal Cipriano
Cover Price: $2.99
On Sale Date: May 4, 2016

**NON SPOILERS AND SCORE BELOW**

Who came up with the logo for this series? That splattered “S” at the end really bugs me. For one thing, it makes the title look like BLOODLINE3 at a glance. For another thing, I don’t really get its purpose. I mean, yeah I get that it’s supposed to be like a splotch of blood, which is admittedly very eXtreme, but it gives the impression that the book was going along with the title BLOODLINE until someone realized that it actually dealt with people from different familial backgrounds and pluralized it at the last minute. I think the logo would have been more striking and immediately readable had it just used the same font for the last letter as is used for the rest of the word. Would that turn anyone off to the comic book? Probably not, it would be their preconceived notions and assuming it was tethered to a twenty year-old comic book event that would do that. Well, allow me to either dispel or bolster those notions! Which will it be? You’ll have to read on to find out!

Batman Beyond #12 Review and *SPOILERS*

Whatever Happened To The Robin In Red?

Written By: Dan Jurgens
Art By: Philip Tan, Jay Leisten, Elmer Santos, Dave Sharpe
Cover Price: $2.99
Release Date: May 4, 2016

*Non Spoilers and Score At The Bottom*

I don't know how it happened, but we've been at this series for a year now and even though it didn't seem like much progression had happened, it really appears that the world is beginning to work itself out of its Brother Eye funk.  Which is great because not having a real world to work with is one of the reasons that Earth 2: Society isn't working and we don't need Batman Beyond to have to deal with the stink of that book.  In the previous issue, we saw Batman and the Justice League Beyond take down Dr. Cuvier and put a stop to all the refugees of this world running amok all over Neo Gotham....... and all it really took was Superman saying "knock it off".  Let's jump into this issue and see what Tim Drake is up to and how he's adjusting to being Batman in an actual world......... and let's see if he gets his ass kicked again.  Guy's got the worst win/loss record going on right now.  Let's check it out.

First Look at DC Comics Variant Covers for June’s REBIRTH One-Shots

I don't know about you, but I can't wait until June rolls around and we get some rebirth action!  In fact, can someone make a time machine and get us there right now?!?!  If that's not possible, I'm going to time travel the old fashioned way...I'm going to lay on my couch and go to sleep, Rip Van Winkle style. It's a long con for sure, but when I wake up, I'll just get my ass out of bed , head to the comic book store and grab me some Rebirth titles.  Not only that, but I'll have a beard down to my knees and the ladies all love that.  Yea, I know we are only talking a couple of weeks, but I have dreams dammit and they involve a beard down to my knees!  By the way, here are the variant covers along with DC Comics official press release...

Well, it’s time for the next chapter in our tales of the Suicide Squad… Now with the Squad included. Both issues ended with our titular characters in pretty deep  pickles. While they were able to take on a large number of soldiers, Kobra's secret weapon, unfortunately, throws a wrench in their plans and has them captured. Meanwhile, Floyd Lawton found himself at the wrong end of ARGUS' guns as they come in to punish him for disobeying orders. The Squad tries their best, but unfortunately, they are taken down with ease. Harley is able to talk him down... but it leads to him getting shot by Will Evans. In the end, while he isn't killed, the shot will keep him out of the action, meaning it's time for a new Deadshot.
So how will they our samurai get out of this situation? How will Will do as our new Deadshot? Let's dive in and find out...

The Flash Season 2 Episode 20 “Rupture" Review and **SPOILERS**

Written By: Lauren Certo
Directed By: Armen Kevorkian
First Aired: May 3, 2016

Last week there was a lot of action, not a lot of movement. On Earth 1 Barry dealt admirably with losing his speed (for the most part, he was still kind of a dick for not revealing to Wally that he was the Flash), Wells whispered with that gravely voice thing he does to make sure you know he is Earth 2 Wells, not Earth 1/Reverse Flash Wells, he was also kidnapped by the series worst meta-human yet but he made up with Jesse so that's tits. Joe dressed like Silent Bob, Cisco played the background, and Wally turned into a simp. On Earth 2, Caitlin was locked up in Zoom's lair, Zoom tried to act all chill, like he was down with being relegated to the friendzone. Killer Frost tried to run the okeydoke on Caitlin and paid with her live. Zoom did the creepy stalker ex-boyfriend thing where he realizes he isn't gonna get in that ass no more and decides to go all scorched earth, Earth 1 that is.

Caught up? Good. Let's get into tonight's proceedings.

Batman/Superman #32 Review

Chinese Democracy

Written by: Peter J. Tomasi
Art by: Doug Mahnke, Jaime Mendoza, Christian Alamy, Livesay, Tom Nguyen, Wil Quintana and
Rob Leigh
Cover Price: $3.99
Release Date: May 4, 2016

I had such high hopes for this big crossover and after a great opening two issues, it seemed that finally, we were going to get the Superman story that we have been waiting for since the New 52 started or even before.  Peter J. Tomasi seemed to have found the secret that had alluded so many writers recently...people like a nice Superman.  I know that sounds like a crazy concept, but hey, sometimes you have to mix things up a bit and coming out of The Truth, it was so desperately needed.  I'd love to say that's why I loved the first two issues of this crossover, but there was more.  Tomasi nailed the character interaction between Clark and Bruce and the story seemed bigger than life (and death), with a real purpose...make things right before Rebirth starts.  Well, the last two issue kind of put things on a downswing and while I love that Supergirl is back in the game, the overall story seems to have lost its way a bit.  This issue begins the second part of the arc (are we now at the Super League part?  I'm so confused) and I'm really hoping that things get back on track so I can start loving it all again.  Well, does it?  Let's find out...

Superman: The Coming of the Supermen #4 Review and **SPOILERS**

In Some Parts of the World, Roast Dog is Considered a Delicacy

Written By: Neal Adams
Art By: Neal Adams, Buzz and Josh Adams, Tony Aviña
Lettered By: Cardinal Rae
Cover Price: $3.99
Release Date: May 4, 2016

**NON-SPOILERS AND SCORE AT THE BOTTOM**

The scientific method consists of four steps: observation, forming a hypothesis, testing that hypothesis, and then establishing a theory. And I think that now, at the fourth issue of this comic book riff on the Tibetan Book of the Dead meets Horsefeathers, I think that I could render said theory. Not because I have “usurped the master” or figured out what brand of varnish Neal Adams sniffed before he came up with this story, but because this issue provides answers to a whole lot of lingering questions that have been trailing along in this miniseries. Considering we’re in the home stretch of this run, it’s about time—but were enough questions answered to keep the story interesting? I dunno, read this review and find out!

Midnighter #12 Review

Some of His Best Work

Written by: Steve Orlando
At by: Aco, Hugo Petrus, Romulo Fajardo Jr, and Tom Napolitano
Cover Price: $2.99
Release Date: May 4, 2016

I know that I have been singled out as the one guy who hates on Midnighter and I'll admit that at points, I have worn that tag as a badge of honor.  Believe me, though, I gave each and every issue the score I thought it deserved.  It's funny, looking back at my reviews as a whole, I had such high hopes for the series (I gave the first issue a 9.5/10), but things went south pretty damn fast.  While I kept hearing everyone go on about how great a book this was, I was thrown off by the crazy dialogue and the story that was going nowhere slow.  Oh well, that's water under the bridge and I have actually enjoyed the last couple of issues and again, have high hopes that Steve Orlando ends it all on a positive note.  Well, did he?  Let's find out...

Green Lantern #52 Review and *SPOILERS*

Renegade No More?

Written By: Robert Venditti
Art By: Billy Tan, Mark Irwin, Livesay, Alex Sinclair, Dave Sharpe
Cover Price: $3.99
Release Date: May 4, 2016

*Non Spoilers and Score At The Bottom*

Originally I was all ga-ga over Hal Jordan sporting Krona's Gauntlet and his long jacket, which the latter instantly informs all of us that he's a bad ass.  This was the Renegade Hal Jordan, who took all the woes that the Green Lantern Corps had and put them on his shoulders as he pretended to be the mastermind behind everything that the Durlans got the Universe to believe about the Corps.  I was so excited about this change in status quo for our hero that I was running around and doing handstands, that ultimately ended in me doing a face plant due to my lack of upper body strength, but nonetheless, I was excited............. The stories that came out of this though just didn't pan out as well as I would of hoped.  Hopefully Rebirth comes and makes Hal Jordan great again, but right now I'm kind of off the Jordan trolley for this final issue of the New 52/DCYou run.  In the previous issue we saw Hal Jordan go back off to space to search for the Corps, but ended up coming face to face with the Gray Agents, who want nothing more than to execute Hal on Universal Live TV so that they can get everyone to back them as the new police force of the Universe.  Let's jump into this issue and see where this takes us on our way to Rebirth.  Let's check it out.

Detective Comics #52 Review

Leave This One Behind

Written by: Peter J. Tomasi
Art by: Fernando Pasarin, Matt Ryan, Chris Sotomayor and Wes Abbott
Cover Price: $3.99
Release Date: March 4, 2016

I have mentioned in my reviews and on our podcast that it is obvious that Peter Tomasi's run on Detective Comics has been marred by editorial snafus, forced crossovers and just about everything else you could imagine.  It's a shame, because I have really liked his ideas, but then again, by the time they get to print, who knows what's been stretched, compacted and turned inside out.  This all leads us to his last story and the one I'm here to review...Gordon at War.  With Rebirth coming up in a month and Detective Comics reverting to it's old numbering and with a new creative team jumping on, Tomasi's story feels out of place and pretty much unnecessary.  To me, it all comes down to seeing Jim Gordon in the Batsuit and while I was one of the people who actually enjoyed it when it was happening, that ship has sailed.  So, was this conclusion of the story and Tomasi's run good despite the uphill battle it is fighting?  Let's find out...

PREVIEW: The Flash #51

Written by: Van Jensen
Art by: Joe Eisma & Gus Vasquez
Cover Price: $3.99

Release Date: may 4, 2016

The Flash’s world is in utter chaos: he’s wanted by the police, headed by his adoptive father. His enemies, The Rogues, have been deputized to take him in. And it couldn’t be a worse time for The Riddler to stake his claim as the most dangerous man in Central City!

Yep, the Riddler was the mystery man behind Barry Allen's latest bit of trouble, but I am not sure he has a claim to the "most dangerous man in Central City". Everyone who has been reading this book knows that title belongs to...Henry Allen.  Yep, the Flash's Father may have finally been cleared of murdering his wife, but he is so much more.  He's helped known felons escape from Iron Heights, was involved in a security guard's murder, tampered with evidence every chance he could and last issue he called in a favor that caused a huge prison break and riot.  That is one bad dude!  Let's see if the Riddler can keep up.

PREVIEW: Midnighter #12

Cover Price: $2.99
Release Date: May 4, 2016

Midnighter, Apollo and the Suicide Squad square off against The Unified—one of Henry Bendix’s most dangerous creations! Is their combined strength enough to stop a being as powerful as Superman and as intelligent as Midnighter?

I just love solicits, don't you?  They come at you so big and bad and I can't help but hear them being read by that guy who does all the movie trailers.  "In a World gone wrong..."  You know that guy, right?  Come to think of it, I think that guy might be dead!  Even if he's not, I really ruined the mood with that, huh?  I don't even know what I was getting at.  Why the hell did I even bring that guy up?!?  I don't even know his name!  This has really gone off the rails and I'd like to just get out while I can.  Here's the preview...

This last bunch of chapters of Injustice have all been about Bizarro and really, when he is going to die.  Superman has been trying to figure out who this doppelganger is, but really, the big question is how he came to be.  While Lex keeps talking out of the side of his mouth, we all know the truth and it's coming home to roost.  This all leads up to this chapter and after seeing last week's cliffhanger with Bizarro and Doomsday fighting it out, I couldn't wait to see what happens...even if I know it will all upset me.  So, here we go with my review of Injustice: Gods Among Us: Year Five Chapter #20...

The Supermen are coming, have come, will come...for we must all be the Superman we wish to see in this world, my children. Personally? I want something like Neal Adams' Superman, all "fly off first and ask questions later" punch 'em up do-gooder like the white-hatted cowboys of yesternever. If he can't make it, I'm digging the Superman from Superman: Lois & Clark pretty hard. And if that Superman is busy, then fine...I'll take the guy in a patchy Superman costume that diddles himself on Hollywood Blvd. Happy?!

PREVIEW: Bloodlines #2

Written By: J.T. Krul
Art By: V. Ken Marion, Sean Parsons, Andrew Dalhouse & Sotocolor
Letters By: Sal Cipriano
Cover Price: $2.99
On Sale Date: May 4, 2016

BLOODLINES continues! Eddie and the rest of the town struggle to cope with the tragic loss of one of their own, but something else is plaguing Eddie. What exactly happened to him in the forest—and what does it mean? He’s not the only one dealing with the fallout from the bizarre alien infestation, either. Others are starting to discover some strange and haunting abilities that seem more like curses. And there’s one who’s all too eager to embrace these newfound powers, with horrific results.

After seeing Eddie go through blueberty last issue, I'm pretty invested in finding out just what in tarnation is goin' on around the quaint town of Pine Ridge. Which, incidentally, is definitely the name of roughly twenty-five serial killers' hometown. It's never a place like "Bloodburg" or "Sharpsville," no it's always "Daisy Village" or "Peaceful Township." Anyway, I hope there's more gory eviscerations this issue because that was bad-ass last issue.

PREVIEW: Batman Beyond #12

Cover Price: $2.99
Release Date: May 4, 2016

Yeah, that’s who you think it is! Get ready for surprises and revelations as Bruce Wayne welcomes you to the storyline that will change Batman Beyond’s status quo forever!

I love this solicit for two reasons.  First because Batman Beyond's big deal status quo change just seems to be backtracking to the old status quo, which is hilarious and secondly because I love the old status quo!  Bring this shit on!.......... on a quick side note, I guess I'm also happy about the fact that Bruce Wayne isn't some Man-E-Faces reject sharing a body with the Joker like he was in Futures End because that was some nightmare fuel right there.

The Legend of Wonder Woman Chapter #18 Review

Woman of Wonder

Written by: Renae De Liz
Art by: Renae De Liz and Ray Dillon
Cover Price: $0.99
Release Date: March 10, 2016

I made a promise to myself that I would catch up completely with the Legend of Wonder Woman so I can talk about how great it is on our weekly podcast and by gum, I'm going to do it!  Luckily, Renae De Liz and Ray Dillon are making it a labor of love because without a doubt, this book is the most consistently enjoyable comic that I am reading right now.  If you haven't made the plunge yet, do yourself a favor and go back to the very beginning, but if that's not your bag, I'll fill you in on what happened last issue.  Diana came face to face with the Duke of Deception and while he's not a totally unknown character, it was still a bit of a shock.  What, that doesn't make any sense to you?  Then go back to the beginning and read the whole series!  We'll wait here for you to catch up.  Okay, you're back?  It's real good, right?  I told you! Now. let's get on with the review for  The Legend of Wonder Woman Chapter #18 and see what happens next and if it was any good...

Why has Dan Didio Dissapeared from Twitter?

Have you seen this man?  Well, he certainly has disappeared off of Twitter and while that can mean a whole lot of things, with the recent reemergence of the sexual harassment allegations against Eddie Bergenza, this guy thinks something is up.  Ever since Shelly Bond was fired from Vertigo, Didio's twitter account had been bombarded with tweets calling for both Bergenza and Didio to be fired and while that might lead some to believe Dan has deleted his account to "get out of the kitchen", I have found him to be more of a stand up kind of guy than that.

I have contacted various people at DC, but  nobody has returned my call as of now, but if I hear anything, I'll be back to let everyone know.

8:30 PM: Still no official word on what is going on.  I'm sure that other outlets will pick up the story and use their clout to get to the bottom of things.  Just remember where you heard it first!

Good morning everyone. How are you today? Good? Good. Welcome to another Weird Science installment of Omega Men reviews. This time, we are here to discuss the penultimate issue; number 11. As we approach the end of this series, we've seen a book dominated by strong characterizations, an intriguing storyline and more than competent art. We've seen Kyle change from hero to soldier. We've seen the revolution against the Citadel grow from guerrilla tactics to all out war. And we've seen whole new environments and alien species depicted by Bagenda's pencils. In short, we've seen a lot of good comics, and one can only hope this coming issue continues that legacy.

4 Kids Walk Into A Bank #1 Review - Just for the Hell of It Mondays

Review By: Branden Murray

I rolled the dice here for “Just for the hell of it Mondays” on a popular new indie title that dropped this week called 4 Kids Walk Into A Bank. Now this grabbed my attention for a couple reasons. First the title sounds like the start of an awful joke in the vain of “two guys walk into a bar …”, and I’m always down for adding bad new Dad jokes to my mental rolodex.  The second reason being, I really wanted to see what all the hubbub was about, it was collecting quite the number of reviews on a certain roundup site I like to visit.
