Weird Science DC Comics Podcast Ep 83: DC Rebirth Week 9,Technical Difficulties and Comics


Jim and Eric decide that it's time to streamline the podcast and get back to the meat and cheese of it all.  Is it a return to legacy?  Is it a meat and potatoes approach to things?  Is it a Rebirth?!?!  Actually, it's none of those because they kind of work it out a bit while recording.  I guess we'll have to see where it all leads.  They still get together with Reggie and talk every book that came out this week and Jim has even seen the Suicide Squad movie...but doesn't really talk about it.  This is a Comic Book Podcast!  Enjoy!

    Only 6 hours? Welp, I liked the podcast for a while, but it's over. I only listen to 7+ hour podcasts. Not enough nonsense for me.

      Streamlined...it's a crazy world where a 6 hour podcast is now considered short! I expect nectar week to make up for it though

    I'm going to start by saying I gave up on the Green Lantern book after Issue Number 1 but the only way that it makes sense for zilius zox and Skallox to be alive is if they used the weird thing they showed in lobo where he killed all the lanterns and they revived from blood and the reason bleez is loyal is because atrocitus caught her killed her and revive her as a loyal servant
    But that seems to make too much sense for this book

      I actually have the same theory and also think it makes too much sense. If only BLeez would have said something when she was temporarily "cured" that gave a hint at this. I just think they are throwing shit at the reader and expecting everyone to just eat it all up and not question anything. I hope I'm wrong!
