DC Comics Announces Injustice 2 Comic Book Written By Tom Taylor

Now this is some good news!  I actually was talking to Eric the other day and told him that I didn't know if I wanted an Injustice 2 comic.  What the hell was I thinking?!?  The second I saw the news that Tom Taylor was writing this, I was all in!  Tom Taylor back on an Injustice book...Fuck Yea! All-New Digital First Prequel Comic Set to Debut in 2017 Ahead of Injustice 2 Videogame

San Diego, CA – Thursday, July 22, 2016 - DC Entertainment announced today during the Injustice 2 panel at Comic-Con International: San Diego that acclaimed writer Tom Taylor is returning to the earth shattering Injustice universe. Taylor will helm the new Digital First prequel comic book series based on the highly anticipated Injustice 2 video game developed by NeatherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.

Taylor played a pivotal role in creating the best-selling Injustice: Gods Among Us comic and served as the series’ original writer. His run quickly became a fan-favorite and was widely considered a huge critical and sales success.

“Having had such a big role in tearing apart the Injustice universe and its characters, I'm very excited for the opportunity to return and do it again,” said Taylor. “To be given so much freedom to play with the world’s greatest Super Heroes and Super-Villains every week is a dream, and I want to thank everyone at DC, WBIE and NetherRealm for their continued faith in me, editor Jim Chadwick, and our incredible team.”

Similar to the first Injustice comic, the new Injustice 2 series will serve as a prequel story to the Injustice 2 video game, releasing new digital chapters every week and making its momentous debut prior to the game’s launch in 2017.
