My Favorite Things w/o 6/27/2016 - Just For The Hell Of It Monday

Welcome back to my weekly list of things I love that you should love too for the week of June 27, 2016. 

1. Lamon Manuel: I love Lamon Manuel, this Chicago rapper channels all the angst of being alive, rubs it's shoulders with Emeril Lagasse seasoning and them makes sweet ass fucking love to it, and does it over brilliantly emotional and soulful production. On top of that he probably hates everything as much, if not more, than I do. Listen to this fucking song. It rules. 




2. Criminal Podcast: I came to Criminal after getting geeked on Serial back when it was covering that kid that killed his girlfriend (he totally did it) not the boring ass Bo Bergdahl season. I was itching for that true crime goodness and it led me here. Criminal takes a different approach, it isn't your typical asshole of a true crime podcast, instead it takes you into the culture/industry of crime. It could be anything from muthafuckers with search dogs to a lawyer who advocates for death row inmates. You will get your fill of crime as well, its just not the typical crime porn that creepy white people seek out.



3. Brennan Schoen on Twitter: Brennan is a comedian or some shit. His twitter feed rules. Daily this asshole makes me audibly guffaw at least 3 to 4 times a day, either with his own musings or retweets from people who are funny but I can't have cluttering my time line (I need to see Glenn Greenwald complain about shit god dammit!). 4. New York City in the 80s: I wouldn't ever want to live there because it was a fucking crime ridden shit hole of a place, but I love the nostalgic feel of old photos and documentaries. I also enjoy listening to assholes who were born in 1993 complaining about how NYC is no longer authentic. This place hasn't been authentic since you were 7 dickhead, get something new to complain about. Also, check this shit out.
