Convergence: Justice Society of America #1 Preview

Written By: Dan Abnett
Art By: Tom Derenick, Trevor Scott
Cover Price: $3.99
Release Date: April 29, 2015

STARRING HEROES FROM CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS! Older and in full retirement under the dome, members of the Justice Society get the chance to regain their youth to stave off forces from the Qward Universe. But the promise of youth comes with a deadly price!

Okay, okay, you guys can have youth but the cost is death........... I hope there's room for negotiation with this deal.  I love the Earth 2 Justice Society and it's because of the Earth 2 title that I finally gave the New 52 a chance, so even if it's because of a crazy dome, I'm happy to get two issues of these characters back in action and how wild would it be if they were to meet their New 52 counterparts?  The correct answer is pretty freaking wild.  I doubt we'll get that but a man-child can dream, can't he?

    1. Oh thats totally natural. ^^ The JSA are pretty awesome.
The pre-crsisis JSA is what im all for though. Dick in his 50s and still Robin (but with PANTS!), A married Alan Scott whose wife isn't dead, Johnny Thunder with his genie. Then you had all those teams built around it like Infinity Inc (next gen JSA based out of Los Angeles, kinda like a JSA teen titans.), Seven Soldiers of Victory (Which merged with the JSA) and the All-Star Squadron. (A branch of the JSA with alot of honorary and extended members.)
      The JSA is badass.

  3. The JSA kept its history Post-COIE except for Batman, Robin, Superman, and Princess Diana, who was replaced with Hippolyta. Otherwise, the Post-COIE Justice Society was the same (and Supes and Bats weren't really that important except for Power Girl and the Huntress).
The 1999-2006 JSA series is the BEST version of the Justice Society as well as DC's Best Series Ever! :)
