But have the events of the past year left too great a rift for them to bounce back from?Except for the part of the solicit that comes off kind of ominous about the relationship of Batman and Robin, the rest sounds like exactly where I want us to be in this book and where I'd like this series to end on. Last week's Batman and Robin #40 was the best book that I've read this year and if we can continue with that kind of storytelling here, I'll be happy as hell.
A very underrated run (mostly due to the fact it ran concurrent to Snyder's /Capullo's BATMAN.
ReplyDeleteMy one compliant would be that Carrie Kelly was, apparently, only introduced for the omg (or more appropriately wtf) moment. They introduced her and, kind of, forgot about her.
Yeah, I really thought that she was going to play a bigger role during Damian being dead, like her uncovering the truth about what really happened to Damian and possibly being acclimated into the Batman world.
