Dr. Polaris is finally aboard the Justice League satellite, and he’ll be sure the Justice League faces the ghosts of every civilian they might’ve saved during the war, if only they didn’t consider themselves too godly to care. Also – up in the sky! It’s definitely not Superman. And it isn’t good!
Looking at this cover, it makes me feel like it should have been the cover to last issue instead. Yeah, I want to see Batman Beyond and the Batman/Joker monster duke it out like we saw on the actual cover to last week's issue, but after reading it, I definitely thought that a gorilla with mechanical bat wings was way more interesting than the fight between the Batmen. This series was great in the beginning because it felt like anything could happen, but now every week when I open this book I know that nothing will happen and I'm depressed as hell about it. Hopefully Futures End picks back up because we don't have much time left with the series and I don't want this to go down as one of the biggest flubs of the New 52.
