The avatar of the Red of Earth 2 is released – and the battle turns for the heroes of Earth 2 as her power is used for both good and evil.The Avatar of the Red is finally released from her enigmatic capture, but I don't know what good it will do in the Avatar's fight against the Furies of Apokolips. I mean all the other Avatars have continuously gotten their asses kicked during this fight. Is it one of those things like you have to complete the circle to imbue the full power of Earth? For the most part this series has just been letting me down, but like a sucker I still get excited every time I open up a new issue. Let's see if they break my heart again this week or if I'm pleasantly surprised.
