While I'm normally all for Firestorm getting play in comics, I kind of feel that we were cheated out of seeing Firestorm at his peak.  When his series ended he was still figuring things out in the hero department, when he was a member of the Justice League he really didn't have much to do and when we finally get a chance to see him with his powers honed, Ronnie dies and we're back to square one with Madison not knowing what she's doing.  I guess since Dr. Polaris is new to the super villain game this battle might not be completely one sided, so at least we have that and monsters battling in space which sounds like a metal song I would want to hear.  All that and I'm digging this cover hard, so this week's Futures End looks pretty damn good right now.
