Just reading that solicit makes my head spin. I'll give Ann Nocenti one thing, her books are always jam packed with characters, plot and dialogue. Listen, I'm not going to give you generic preview speak ("I can't wait", "Things are heating up", "But brick not hit back") or lie and say this is one of my favorite books, it's not. Not even close. I will tell you that the art has been fantastic and while the story has been confusing and convoluted, it's the best Ann has written in the New 52. If you like dark magical stories with crazy characters and situations, give it a try. Just remember, You break my record, now I break you, like I break your friend.
