Just For The Hell Of It Mondays: Who Doesn't Love He-Man Playsets?

It seems that for this week I'm pushing the hell out of He-Man and The Masters of the Universe.  Oh and just so you know our weeks here at Weird Science begin on Wednesday's new comic book day, so we're still rocking last week for all of you set in your Monday is the first day of the week habits.

Like I said I'm pushing the hell out of He-Man, first I started with He-Man and The Masters of The Universe #14 Review, then last Friday I did a Top 5 Masters of The Universe Characters That Led To He-Man.  Now for this week's Just For The Hell Of It Monday I want to take a look back at one of my favorite He-Man playsets as a kid.  Now it's not the obvious choice of Castle Grayskull, which don't get me wrong because that playset was the shit.  No this playset is something that I feel gets lost in the mix of awesome playsets, and whether it's because of it's simplicity or people just don't remember a lot about He-Man I don't know, but what I do know is that I wish I still had it today.  Let's take a look at the commercial for Hordak's Fright Zone.

I have no idea why more playsets didn't utilize the hand puppet as an additional feature to their sets.  It was just a big rubber hand puppet of a snake monster, and it added hours of fun and enjoyment to the Fright Zone.  That and with most of my playsets as a child..... a shit load of slime.  Which ultimately led to me being forbidden to play with slime when it somehow ended up on the cat, and inside the VCR.  Don't ask me why, now as it was when it happened, I have no idea why I did that.  But back to the point, this was a awesome toy to have, and I have many fond memories of it.  So tell me your favorite playset, it doesn't have to be He-Man even though I've beaten it to death this week, just something that you loved and that kids today will never understand.  See you in seven for the next simple video segment we call Just For The Hell Of It Mondays.  Oh and read He-Man and The Masters of The Universe.
