Just For The Hell Of It Mondays 4/28/14

It's the last week of April and that means we're finally done "How Bad We Had It In The 90's" month.  We've seen the Flash getting silly with Trickster, Superboy get beat up by Lex Luger, and a depowered Clark Kent beat the hell out of a government agent.  Basically we've watched a bunch of nonsense, and originally for this week I was going to do Swamp Thing the live action series, but I did the title sequence a while ago, and I don't like repeating myself.  Luckily we do have something that will culminate the 90's live action awfulness, even with leaving Swamp Thing out.

I'm talking about a show that nobody talks about anymore, because nobody remembers it.  It only lasted seven episodes and there's a reason for it.  This week we'll look at the promo teaser to the pilot episode of Human Target.  For those of you not in the know on this, the Human Target is Christopher Chance a Vietnam War Vet who now takes on cases to protect people.  Kinda like the A Team, but the twist to this show is the way he protects them.  Chris Chance actually becomes his client using a high quality mask, becoming The Human Target, like Dark Man but with cool Mission Impossible toys.  You can understand why a show pretty much ripping off Mission Impossible and staring the singer of "Jessie's Girl" might not stick around to long.  In conclusion I'm really happy that I get to close out "How Bad We Had It In The 90's" month with Human Target because while it might have seemed like a good idea at the time, and maybe the seven people that actually watched it really enjoyed it, but it is the epitome of bad 90's TV.

We should all take a moment and thank........ something that superheroes actually survived the 90's and became something bearable to watch.  Well see you in seven as we go back to random clips.  Boosh!
