Alright Gang, Family Meeting.
In the last issue of Larfleeze we saw our guru of greed take on two gods of the House Tuath-Dan in his
search of his Butler Stargrave. He took on and whooped the asses of the goddess of chaos; Errata, and the goddess of despair; Dyrge. Now that the dueling gods have run for the hills the people of this world want to reward Larfleeze for helping them. I bet that ends well, and in the end the Errata calls a Tuath-Dan family meeting to discuss the death of Larfleeze. Let's jump right in.
Explain It!:
We begin by seeing Larfleeze take the reward of the people a little far. He's announced himself king of the planet, and demanded all the people bring him their shiny stuff. During a bit of banter one of Larfleeze's subjects talks about a butler, and this sparks Larfleeze to leave the world in search of his original goal, his lost butler Stargrave. So let's move on to the family meeting.
The House of Tuath-Dan get together, and we're introduced to Ardora the goddess of heart's desire. But she doesn't want anything to do with it so she leaves. Wanderer being the black sheep of the family takes her place at the meeting. So all the family gets together and we have Errata, Dyrge, N'Odens, Wanderer, and the head of the family Xum. But that's boring let's go find out what Larfleeze is up to.
Well Larfleeze is just flying through space, but luckily for plot, Ardora finds Larfleeze and appears to him as one of the dog warthog race that he is. But Larfleeze is all like I got ninety-nine problems but a dog warthog faced bitch aint one. (See this would be funny if I would of told you she has the ability to make most creatures fall in love with her, but you'll figure it out somehow.) That is until she tells him where to find Stargrave. In the end Ardora takes Larfleeze to the House of Tuath-Dan so the family can just kill him and move on to conquering the universe. So we'll have to wait and see what happens in what could be an epic battle between a house of gods, and the master of mine. See you next issue.
Bits and Pieces:
Another fun issue which for me is something, because I started out hating this title. The corny jokes are becoming less annoying, and I can see a pretty cool story taking shape. Yeah I'm a ray of sunshine, but these are actual compliments, and I'll continue the series hoping that each issue keeps getting better. So far that hope hasn't let me down. So go check out Larfleeze, and get your greed on.
6.8/10
